Kris was named the 2007 Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Artist in Residence, which means he'll play a pair of shows there this August.
"Few artists can legitimately wear the mantle of 'living legend,'" museum director Kyle Young said in a story posted on Great American Country. "But Kris Kristofferson embodies the phrase."
The show dates are Aug. 14 and 15 at the Museum's Ford Theatre.
Tickets, which are $40 each with a limit of two per customer for each show, will go on sale to Museum members July 9-15. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on July 16, at the Museum’s box office or by calling (615) 416-2001.
