• Kris talked to Baton Rouge newspaper The Advocate about his role in 'Dreamer' (pictured). Kris also discusses witnessing the hurricane destruction in the area which he used to work in.
"Well, we were always aware that the hurricanes could do that, but they never did while I was there," Kris tells reporter John Wirt.

• 'The Road Goes on Forever' has been re-released in a new, remastered, 10th anniversary edition. The CD comes packaged with a DVD including a behind the scenes documentary of the recording sessions.

The disc also features bonus songs not included on the original. One of those is a Kris acoustic demo of a song called 'Closer to the Bone,' which Kris used to sing on tour.
A special limited edition of the CD is also being released, set to hit stores Nov. 8.

• Kris tells the Birmingham News about 'Dreamer,' his autobiography and a new CD, set for early 2006 release on New West records.
"It's pretty spare," Kris said. "They're mostly new songs that hadn't been recorded before and some that nobody heard."
