For those of not in the path of Kris' latest tour, some good-hearted YouTubers have recently shot and uploaded video snippets from a few of his latest stops. Danny Timms - Kris' longtime touring sidekick and former Borderlord - now has his own Web site at
dannytimms.com. As you'll see if you visit it, the site is still largely under construction, although it does have a handful of lengthy clips from his upcoming album, "Legendary Dreamer." Among them is 'Moment of Forever,' the song Timms wrote the melody for and then Kris later added the lyrics. It also includes "Without Love" and "The Water," which Timms played frequently at Kris concerts throughout the 90s.
Kris will receive CMT's Johnny Cash Visionary Award during an April 16 awards show in Nashville, officials there announced today.
Here's what Kris told the Associated Press about the honor: "John was my hero before he was my friend, and anything with his name on it is really an honor in my eyes.
"I was thinking back to when I first met him, and if I ever thought that I'd be getting an award with his name on it, it would have carried me through a lot of hard times."
